"Am Yisrael Chai"
“The People of Israel Live”
This phrase may have originated when a chaplain shouted it
following the liberation of Bergen-Belsen. Shalom Carlebach popularized the
saying in his revered anthem for the Soviet Jewry movement. These words speak to the
universal solidarity and resilience of the Jewish people. We honor Israel and remember
our hostages in the aftermath of October 7. This year's pin for 5785 (2024-2025) was
designed and produced by Shablool Jewelry Design, Afula, Israel.
