I just came back from the ICR (IntraContinental Region) conference in Overland Park, KS. I had a great time getting to know so many great women from our region and made lots of new friends from all over: Kansas City, St. Louis, Minneapolis, San Antonio, Houston and I now have a fun hockey rivalry with my new friend from Winnipeg. I know these conferences can be quite costly, but we will put into next year’s budget some extra money for more than one person to attend. I’ll share more details about the programs from the conference at our Election dinner on May 16th.
Be sure to RSVP so we know you’re coming! You’ll need to vote on our new slate. Let’s celebrate this year’s accomplishments and welcome our new board for 2025-26.

“Women can be heroes.” When 20-year-old nursing student Frankie McGrath hears these words, she joins the Army Nurse Corps following her brother who has shipped out to fight in Vietnam. Overwhelmed by the chaos and destruction she meets, the real battle for Frankie and her veteran friends lies in coming home to a changed and divided America, to angry protesters, and to a country that wants to forget Vietnam.
Sisterhood selected a new Tikkun Olam/Social Action project to support this year.
The Suitcase Project assists disadvantaged women, children and families impacted by abuse & trafficking in their transition to safer and independent lives.
