MONTHLY NEWSLETTER- SEPTEMBER 2024
From Our Sisterhood President, Rhonda Duchin
We start our September programming this month with inspiring Rosh Chodesh Elul program on Sept. 3rd (see details below). And there are so many more opportunities for us to get together. I want to highlight just a few:
September 9thSisterhood is Co-Sponsor of Jewish Film Festival- "The Catskills" at Studio Movie Grill - Royal Lane/Central at 7PM.
September 12th the Dallas Jewish Historical Society is honoring the Wisch Family and the Texas Jewish Post for their many years of contributions to our community. Please let me know if you would like to join me in celebrating this amazing family which includes Judy Wisch a long time CBT member.
And of course, please join us for Sisterhood Shabbat dinner and services on September 13th and let Lisa Miller know if you are interested in participating. The dinner is only $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Stacy Clark and Vikki Silvis are cooking up something delicious!
Our newest endeavor is looking for volunteers for “Sunday Schmooze”. Anytime the Learning Center is in session, we will have the membership lounge open for anyone to come and ‘schmooze’. This will include some coffee and nosh but also a good game of (fill in the blank), or a pick-up Mah Jongg game. We can make it whatever we want. However, to make this successful, we’ll need some volunteers. Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience to let me know if you are interested. Our first Sunday Schmooze is Sunday, September 15th.
As always details are below on great things happening month!
